SIMtone Supports Green Computing with Sponsorship of America's Cup Team

We have just announced our involvement in the 33rd America's Cup Race by sponsoring the Green Comm Challenge, also known as Circolo di Vela Gargnano (CVG) -- a team that recently submitted its challenge for entry.

We are participating as a technical partner and offering our SIMtone Universal Computing platform which will allow the Green Comm Challenge team to access data, applications and information services in the cloud, on-demand and on-the-fly, on water and land.

We are delighted to support the first America's Cup boat driven by world-changing innovation and a scientific mission that is completely aligned with our vision.  By eliminating complexity in the organization, SIMtone will make Green Comm 'go faster' and enable the entire team to work together simply and safely from anywhere. With SIMtone, the only carbon involved with the Green Comm Challenge will be in the hull!

Will SIMtone desktops be access from the boat itself (is the boat USB interfaced?), or just for administrative type?

Hi
From one of my blogs/newsletters, I read about cloud computing.

I made a comment and then sent it onto Robert Corkery of http://koordinates.com/

You maybe interested in what they have or, could do!?
Cheers
